Consultation/Advice
This is the bread and butter of my practice, and what many of my clients rely on me for the most. I'm the guy on the other end of the phone or email when you face the day-to-day challenges (OK, sometimes "crises" is the better word!) that come with being in HR. In my 10 years of litigating employment law cases for the defense, and my 10-plus more years counseling and advising hundreds of companies and keeping them out of trouble, I'm pretty confident you won't find another employment lawyer who has seen more than I have!

While drafting effective and legally helpful employment policies, agreements, handbooks, and other employment-related documents isn't one of the sexiest parts of HR (not surprising with so many other sexy parts of HR to compete with!), it is truly one of the fundamentals that a good HR person must get right. This is the service we both hope you don't need from me!
